Alan McEwen has been involved in New England Nordic skiing for the past twenty years; coaching, racing in marathons, and providing support to numerous skiers (including his sons, Dartmouth ’17 & ’19). Alan has a Ph.D. in chemistry that serves as the base for his deep knowledge of physiology and nutrition. He supports his skiers with expertise in sports psychology, nutrition, training, and ski waxing. He lives in Wellesley with his wife Bonnie (Wellesley ’85).
